So because of this 3 month delay I bought another laptop, a Huawei computer, it was the nicest laptop I was able to afford at that time, so after the technician fixed my laptop I gave it to my dad, I visited my parents for the summer holidays and notice that my dad was really mad with laptop, he said that it was really hot and that it was uncomfortable to use and that it was very slow, I dig around the internet and everybody told me to repaste and undervolt. So here is where the story gets really messed up, while the technician was at my house all he talked about was how all the work he was going to do was unnecessary, because his expert knowledge said that the issues were because of dust in the fans, even though there were very little dust inside the laptop, and he said that one of the screws that hold the backplate had a broken base, he said it was like that before he started… after this episode I knew that dell does not stand for the claims they make about their customer support, it’s clear that many people who work there have no clue of what they are doing. So around October last year my dell xps 9550 started having issues with thermals, the laptop was getting really hot while charging, so after some back and forth with dell they agreed to change the motherboard, heatsink and battery, they told me that someone was going to call me a couple of days later to arrange a meeting at my house where he could fix the laptop, a week goes by and nothing, I call, they say wait a couple of days please, this circle goes around for about two months, so I started getting really mad with the phone operator, so they send me to the big boss, big boss tells me that my battery was on backorder and that it was registered in the system 3 days after my very first phone call, he couldn’t justify why nobody didn’t tell me about this and didn’t seem to even care, so he gave me two choices, have the technician come twice to my house, once right away and once when the battery arrives, or just wait until the battery arrives, I choose the ladder. Hi people, tldr is at the bottom, here is the full story:
